The Atlanta Journal Constitution highlights the TLC Kickstarter

Melissa Ruggieri recently interviewed TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Chilli expressed gratitude and excitement about the TLC Kickstarter campaign, which reached its goal of $150,000 in just three days. According the Chilli, the success of the campaign proves that TLC fans are still passionate about the group and want to be a part of their final album. Gigaom highlights the work of Eliot Higgins and Bellingcat

Matthew Ingram recently wrote about Eliot Higgins and Bellingcat for Gigaom. Bellingcat has utilized crowdsourcing to track, identify, and record the movements of military equipment and troops in Ukraine. In doing so, Belllingcat has created a database that grows everytime a user adds a new piece of verified information. Bellingcat, a site for and by citizen journalists, was launched after a successful Kickstarter campaign, which was managed by Vann Alexandra. The full article can be read at gigaom.
