Bird blog interviews Vann Alexandra founder Alex Daly

Alex Daly recently spoke with the blog “Bird.” Daly discussed her love for New York City, the unexpected road that led to the creation of Vann Alexandra, and the difficulties of working in a new, emerging industry. Daly initially planned on becoming a journalist, before realizing it wasn’t the fit she had hoped. She then began working as a production manager at a boutique documentary production company, where she excelled at fundraising. After excelling at grant, Daly was asked to run a client’s Kickstarter campaign. The campaign, and others that followed, were a complete success, and the rest is history. Fast Company Highlights Eric Ries’ Kickstarter campaign

Fast Company discussed Eric Ries’ Kickstarter campaign in an article by Rebecca Greenfield. Ries is the author of “The Lean Startup,” a New York Times best seller that is hugely influential in the business community. Ries’ new book, “The Leaders’ Guide,” is the much anticipated follow up. By providing case studies, “The Leaders’ Guide” will provide business leaders with the tools they need to implement Ries’ theories. Hollywood Reporter announces Revolt Indiegogo campaign

The Hollywood Reporter announced the charitable Indiegogo campaign from the filmmakers behind Revolt in an article by Pamela McClintock. Revolt is an upcoming science fiction movie starring Lee Pace and Berenice Marlohe that takes place in war-torn Africa. During production, the Revolt team was struck by the community of Ward 48, a small district on the outskirts of Johannesburg, South Africa  They launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for the district’s residents. The Indiegogo campaign, which is being managed by Vann Alexandra, surpassed it’s $15,000 goal in less than 24 hours.
