Director Griffin Dunne discusses the Didion Doc Kickstarter campaign on Indiewire

Indiewire’s Paula Bernstein interviews director Griffin Dunne about the inception of the Joan Didion documentary. He and the film’s producers went to various investors but were unable to raise money for the film. Producer Annabelle Dunne suggested starting a Kickstarter campaign and the rest is history.
