The New York Times Revisits The Year of Joan Didion
Matthew Schneier described 2015 as the year “Fashion’s gaze turned to Joan Didion” in an article for the New York Times. Indeed, 2015 saw Didion’s iconic look featured by the French label Céline. This followed the massive success of the Joan Didion Documentary on Kickstarter, which raised over $220,000 and was the third highest funded documentary on Kickstarter that year.
