Makerarm is a multi-functional robotic arm that can 3D print, CNC mill, laser engrave, assemble electronics, paint, and more. The feature includes a video demonstration by Makerarm founder Azam Shahani, in which Makerarm laser engraves the TechCrunch logo into both wood and styrofoam.  Vann Alexandra is managing the Makerarm Kickstarter campaign.
