YCN covers the New York City Subway Poster campaign
YCN recently covered the New York City Subway Poster campaign. After managing more than 28 successful crowdfunding campaigns, Vann Alexandra founder Alex Daly created the project with her partner and Standards Manual project creator Hamish Smythe. The New York City Subway poster displays all 468-subway station signs in alphabetical order. According to Alex, crowdfunding gives people the “chance to get their hands on design artifacts that are so engrained in our city’s fabric.” Just hours into the campaign, The NYC Subway Poster has already raised more than $37,000 out of its $29,800 goal.
