Samuel Muston delved into Joan Didion’s recipe book in an article for the Independent. Of particular interest to Muston was Didion’s parsley salad recipe, which was portioned to serve 35 to 40 people. The recipes were offered as a $50 reward during the Kickstarter campaign for “We Tell Ourselves Stories in Order to Live,” a Didion documentary directed by Griffin Dunne.
